Subfamily Description
Integration, Verification & Testing (IVT) comprises the integration of SW and / or HW or system components into system, platform, product releases, or networks and verifies the integrated entity or network against particular requirements and specifications. Covers setup and maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment, tools, and devices.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant industry experience in hardware, software, telecommunications, or integrated systems engineering.
Experience working in customer-facing technical support, product engineering, or development environments.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively across cultures, and operate in a global environment.
Experience in project leadership, process improvement, and mentoring team members is desirable.
Independently execute complex technical assignments within broad guidelines, leveraging industry best practices and specialist expertise.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and integrated system issues using sound judgment and analytical skills.
Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the team and organization.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to less experienced engineers and support personnel.
Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement enhancements, bug fixes, and new features for integrated hardware/software solutions.
Lead small-scale projects with limited risk, scope, and resource requirements while ensuring timely delivery.
Manage and resolve customer trouble tickets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
Diagnose critical customer issues, recommend corrective actions, and drive issue resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Gather and translate customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.
Develop and manage controlled software and hardware releases, including major releases, updates, maintenance packages, and customer-specific solutions.
Define and manage product hardware/software evolution through documentation, change management processes, supplier coordination, and customer notifications.
Maintain deep technical and design knowledge of assigned products and technologies and support knowledge transfer across teams.
Deliver technical training and guidance to Tier 2 and Tier 3 support organizations.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and actively participate in tools, processes, and operational improvements.
Collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, sharing innovative ideas, and driving operational excellence.
