Position Overview
Innodata is seeking Arabic Language Experts to support AI evaluation and data annotation initiatives. The role involves reviewing Arabic-language content and AI-generated responses, assessing language quality, and providing clear and consistent feedback based on defined evaluation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Review and evaluate Arabic-language content and AI-generated responses.
Assess grammar, spelling, fluency, accuracy, relevance, and overall language quality.
Identify linguistic, cultural, and regional nuances in Arabic content.
Annotate and categorize data according to project guidelines.
Compare and evaluate AI-generated responses.
Provide structured feedback to support the improvement of AI systems.
Follow defined quality standards and evaluation guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Arabic, Linguistics, Translation, Language Studies, Education, Literature, or a related field is preferred.
Candidates from other academic backgrounds may also be considered if they demonstrate native or near-native Arabic proficiency and strong written Arabic skills.
Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic.
Excellent written Arabic and strong reading comprehension.
Good English proficiency to understand project guidelines and instructions.
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and language comprehension.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Selection Process
Candidates who meet the relevant qualifications may be required to complete a pre-hiring assessment to evaluate their Arabic language proficiency, comprehension, attention to detail, and ability to assess AI-generated content.
This is a remote, flexible, freelance opportunity, with assignments and working hours varying according to project requirements.
