Role Purpose
The Manager SAP Finance will play a critical role in the organization's SAP S/4HANA transformation program. He will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
The role requires strong business partnering capabilities with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into SAP solutions, and drive successful delivery of the S/4HANA migration program.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Solution Design & Delivery
Lead the design and implementation of SAP FICO processes as part of the SAP S/4HANA migration program.
Define future-state finance processes leveraging S/4HANA capabilities and best practices.
Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend optimal solutions to address business requirements.
Business Partnering
Collaborate closely with Finance leadership and business users to understand current processes, challenges, and future requirements.
Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with key stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and functional specifications.
Act as a trusted advisor to Finance teams throughout the transformation journey.
Program & Project Support
Support end-to-end project lifecycle activities including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, PP, BW, Basis, Security, and Integration teams.
Ensure integration points between Finance and other SAP modules are effectively designed and tested.
Drive data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities related to finance processes.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial governance standards.
Promote standardization and simplification of finance processes.
Identify opportunities to leverage S/4HANA innovations and automation capabilities.
Support knowledge transfer and capability building within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
SAP FICO certification and/or S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.
Experience
10+ years of SAP FICO consulting or solution delivery experience.
Proven experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration program.
Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes.
Experience working with global finance stakeholders and large transformation programs.
Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or similar industries is desirable.
Technical Skills
Deep expertise in SAP FICO configuration and solution design.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and capabilities.
Understanding of integration with MM, SD, PP, Treasury, Tax, and Reporting solutions.
Knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and controls frameworks.
Experience with data migration and testing methodologies.
