In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role requires ensuring that development standards are maintained, and that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of processes to support successful project outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
Continuously evaluate and improve software architecture to enhance system scalability and performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle EBS Human Capital Management (HCM).
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices related to custom software development.
Experience in leading technical teams and managing complex software projects.
Ability to design scalable and high-performance software solutions aligned with business requirements.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and quality assurance processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative technical solutions.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS Human Capital Management (HCM).
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
