Senior Go Developer

Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. As a Senior Go Developer at Endava, you will have the following responsibilities:
Developing and testing solutions in Go based on given requirements
Estimating tasks and participating in daily team sync-ups
Participating in code reviews
Daily communication with the client through emails, phone sync-ups etc.
Collaborating with the QA engineering team to ensure the delivered code meets the defined standards.
Experience with the latest Go versions (7+ years);
Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, concurrency model (goroutines, channels), memory management, and performance tuning;
Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices;
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS);
Knowledge of web protocols and technologies, including RESTful APIs and HTTP/HTTPS;
Experience designing and developing RESTful and event-driven services in Go;
Experience with source code versioning systems (Perforce, Git, SVN);
Good verbal and written English;
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases;
Strong experience with Microservices architecture and distributed systems;
Solid understanding of the complete product development lifecycle;
Strong analytical skills, systematic approach, and ability to work independently;
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes;
Experience with Go frameworks and libraries (e.g. Gin, Echo, Fiber, gRPC).
