We are looking for and AI Transformation Coordinator - not a technical expert, but an effective communicator, automations enthusiast, who
ensures AI is adopted safely, practically and consistently across E&C, and turns business needs into useful AI solutions.
LOCATION: Remote work is possible, however the E&C’er needs to be located within European E&C entities: E&C Group Locations

Why did we decide to create such a role at E&C?
Most of the value in AI is not in the tools themselves. It is in the distance between having access to them and using them well, and that distance is currently being crossed unevenly and informally across the business. This role exists to close that gap deliberately: to make good practice visible and repeatable, to stop capable people from spending hours rediscovering what a colleague solved last month, and to make sure the initiatives we invest in are the ones that actually pay back. Equally, the role exists to apply judgement about where AI is not the answer — an honest recommendation to keep a process manual, or to solve it with a spreadsheet, a script or a conversation, is as valuable as an automation delivered.
What would you be trusted with if you join us?
Identify and prioritize AI use cases by working with teams to understand pain points, expected value, feasibility and data sensitivity
Measure and report business impact (usage, hours returned, cycle‑time improvements, automated workflows, cost vs benefit)
Be a point of contact for our E&Cers for AI questions & ideas
Design and deliver targeted training, policies & guidance (with the help of our amazing HR and Admin teams), workshops and knowledge sessions tailored to different audiences and technical confidence levels.
Shape a network of AI champions embedded across functions to sustain capability building
Partner with IT to ensure AI use aligns with information security, data governance and records requirements, help mitigate risks (client confidentiality, personal data, IP, output accuracy and appropriate human oversight)
It’s a very new role - so, fair question: what success looks like?
In 12 months we’d hope for:
Increased enthusiasm and awareness of sensible usage of AI solutions (yes, we know, that’s not something you can really control, but we are all here to support you in making it happen!)
A clear, documented pathway from idea to deployed AI solution, understood and used across the business
Measurable growth in active, competent use of approved AI tools: not licences issued, but work genuinely being done differently
A published set of AI guidelines that E&Cers can find, understand and follow, aligned with our security and data governance
A maintained inventory of AI tools and use cases, with costs and benefits overview
An active AI champions network reducing reliance on this role as the single point of support
Reduced duplication across AI initiatives - which investments are returning value and which should stop?
