About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Benrey is a full-stack marketing agency built for businesses that are done wasting time. We don’t pitch fairy tales. We don’t push theories. We analyse and execute.
We handle everything from paid media and creative to SEO, ASO, content, PR, brand protection, ambassadorship and beyond - digital, print, and everything in between. If it moves the brand forward, if it makes an impact - we’re on it.
We’re the team you call when **it needs to get done - right, fast, and without excuses.

Who We’re Looking For:
A Technical SEO Specialist who is equally confident working in consoles, server logs, and code. We manage large multi-domain and multilingual platforms across international markets and highly competitive niches. Nothing scales manually at this level, so we automate everything that can be repeated.
This is not a job where you simply “fix meta tags according to a checklist.” The key responsibility is building systems that maintain optimization across hundreds of thousands of pages and operate without manual intervention. We need someone who can independently identify the main problem and solve it without a step-by-step specification.
Important: we specifically need experience with Google. All of our projects are focused on Google. Experience with Yandex is not required for this role: Yandex uses different rendering and indexing mechanisms, and that experience does not transfer to our tasks.
Requirements:
4+ years of technical SEO experience focused on Google, working on large-scale projects with tens of thousands of URLs, multilingual or multi-domain environments
Deep understanding of how Googlebot crawls and renders pages: Web Rendering Service, rendering queues, and the difference between source HTML and the rendered version
Strong experience with Google Search Console: indexing and crawling reports, URL Inspection, and the GSC API
Hands-on experience with SSR migrations: a project where you owned or were responsible for the SEO side, not just theoretical knowledge
Experience with partial SSR at scale: understanding which parts of a page are rendered server-side, which are rendered client-side, and what actually gets indexed by Google
Experience running SEO A/B tests on programmatic pages: segmented rollouts, verification, and rigorous analysis of results
Python (1.5+ years) or TypeScript at the level of “I build working tools myself,” not “I completed a course”
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS (6+ months), and how rendering strategies affect indexing, performance, and accessibility
Practical experience working with logs and APIs: GSC API, crawlers, databases
Experience with LLM APIs or automation built around them
Independence and confidence in decision-making: not just identifying a problem, but driving it through to resolution with other teams
English — preferably B1 or above (conversational level)
Nice to Have:
Experience in iGaming, programmatic SEO websites/SaaS, or large-scale e-commerce
Experience in fintech, crypto, or HRTech
Experience working with Western and international markets
BigQuery, ClickHouse, and experience working with large datasets
Playwright, headless crawling
Statistical literacy when evaluating test results
Experience mentoring others or reviewing technical work
What You’ll Be Doing:
Technical audits of large websites: crawling, indexing, rendering, and Googlebot crawl budget. Finding bottlenecks in complex structures where the problem is not visible in any standard interface
Rendering and migrations: diagnosing CSR / SSR / partial SSR, planning and executing migrations, and verifying what Googlebot actually receives rather than what the browser displays. Working with hydration, prerendering, and caching at scale
SEO A/B testing on programmatic pages: hypothesis development, group segmentation, phased rollouts, comparing the deployed state with the intended implementation, correlation analysis, and filtering out seasonality and Google algorithm updates. Distinguishing real effects from noise and avoiding conclusions based on two weeks of data
Server log analysis: understanding how bots actually crawl the site, where crawl budget is being wasted, which templates fail to reach the index, and what changed after a release
Building your own tools in Python or TypeScript: bulk checks, change monitoring, structured data validation, internal linking, automated audits, dashboards. Systems that run continuously rather than one-off scripts
LLMs in production, not in a chat window: content generation and validation pipelines, page classification, anomaly detection, and API-based integrations (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI)
Structured data, canonicals, robots directives, and XML sitemaps: implemented at the template and automated-generation level rather than page by page
Core Web Vitals and performance: diagnostics, clear actionable tasks for developers, and verification that the improvements actually make it to production
Analytics and reporting: measuring changes in crawling, indexing, and visibility in Google (including AI Overviews) using data rather than intuition
Working with development teams: creating technical requirements developers can act on, defending priorities, and driving tasks through to release
Documenting the systems you build so they continue to work without you
What We Offer:
Fully remote work — work from wherever you want
Flexible schedule
Competitive compensation
28 paid vacation days per year + 10 additional days off for public holidays
3 paid sick days per year without a medical certificate
Sports and gym reimbursement
Support with software purchases
Freedom to choose your tech stack and tools
Direct collaboration with the technical team, with no layer of managers between you and the task
Real opportunities for career and professional growth
A great team working across the world
How to Apply:
In your cover letter, answer two questions:
What tool did you build yourself, and what problem did it solve?
Describe a case where logs or raw data revealed a problem that was not detected by any crawler or any GSC report.
Applications without answers to these questions and without experience working with Google will not be considered.
