Role Description
We are looking for an Associate [Java] Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is designed for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in Java backend development, software engineering, application development, REST APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, system integration, and modern software-development practices.
The Associate [Java] Backend Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Java-based backend applications, APIs, databases, internal platforms, automation solutions, enterprise systems, and digital services.
The role may involve working with Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, cloud platforms, messaging systems, testing tools, and modern backend engineering technologies depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Final-year students who are completing their degree and are available for full-time employment may also apply.
Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Java development, backend development, software engineering, software development, application development, API development, enterprise software, web services, or related technology roles can apply.

Basic to good knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented programming.
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, collections, exception handling, interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism, multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and software-development fundamentals.
Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar Java backend technologies will be beneficial.
Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases will be beneficial.
Understanding of database fundamentals, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, queries, CRUD operations, and data-access concepts will be advantageous.
Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable applications, or event-driven systems will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
Exposure to JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Postman, API testing, unit testing, integration testing, or automated testing tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, configuration management, logging, and monitoring will be beneficial.
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, background jobs, or event-driven architecture will be advantageous.
Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, API security, secure coding, input validation, or application-security concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to JVM fundamentals, application performance optimization, database tuning, scalability, reliability, logging, monitoring, or observability will be advantageous.
Familiarity with ORM technologies, database connectivity, persistence layers, transactions, and backend data-access patterns will be beneficial.
Exposure to automation, ETL/ELT, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications will be considered an additional advantage.
Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
