MHE Trainer

We’re looking for an experienced MHE Trainer to join our Great Bear team in Duckmanton, who will play a key role in delivering training to MHE operators to ensure safe working practices and a continual reduction in MHE accident / incidents.
Shift pattern: 4on4off Days, 06:00 to 18:00, 40.25 hours per week
Paying: £32,000 per annum plus overtime after 40.25 hours per week paid at time and half
What you’ll be doing:
Champion a positive Health & Safety culture on site, keeping safe working practices at the heart of daily operations.
Deliver high-quality MHE training, inductions and refresher sessions for permanent and agency colleagues.
Train MHE operators on the Fleet Management System and ensure colleagues are confident using the correct processes.
Maintain accurate training records and support the development of a site skills matrix to track operator competence.
Complete workplace assessments to ensure MHE operators remain safe, capable and compliant.
Support risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and hazard controls to reduce risk across MHE activities.
Assist with investigations into MHE-related incidents, identifying learnings and helping prevent repeat occurrences.
Work closely with operational management to cover training requirements across shifts and provide accurate KPI and monthly reporting.
What we are looking for:
Valid MHE training certification preferred; candidates with recently expired certifications may also be considered.
Refresher or external training can be provided for the right candidate.
Must be willing to work a permanent 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
