Junior IT Technician

Company: Ocean Hotels Barbados
Main Responsibilities:
Providing Technical support for Data, Internet, Camera, VOIP, Sound network hardware
Providing 1st level support and limited training for the Property Management, Maintenance, Inventory, Point of Sale and Payroll applications, and some Microsoft products
Fixing and Maintaining Hardware and Software problems on Computers, Other network or standalone devices and Printers
Fixing and Maintaining cabling infrastructure
Provide Technical support after hours and on weekends when required
Basic Administration of Networks
Requirements:
Must reside in Barbados
Two Years’ experience in a similar position
A+ and Network + Certification
Knowledge of Helpdesk or Maintenance Applications
Work experience with operating systems, computer hardware, system files, maintenance, networking, configuration of hardware and software, and troubleshooting computer problems
Team oriented with excellent communication, interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where meeting deadlines, multitasking, problem solving and attention to detail are essential
Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
