Role purpose
In this role you will be collaborating with IDP’s Data Engineering and Governance, an enterprise capability team and be responsible for: -
Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
Evaluating existing data systems.
Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
Work with Product owners, Data Scientist, Data Engineers, Data Analyst, Software developers incl. Architects to efficiently build data models inline IDP’s data vision.
Prepare and maintain training material and SOPs, knowledge base articles and technical documentation.

Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Statistics
8–12 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in data modeling or data architecture roles
Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Able to effectively present information, gain feedback and respond to questions from groups of senior leaders, stakeholders, and customers.
Comfortable with working with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment
Any Data Modelling certification is desirable.
