Senior Manager, AML, Fund Services
We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Senior Manager who brings together expertise, teamwork, and innovation to drive our mission to deliver AML and Know-Your-Client (KYC) solutions for our global clients.

The MSFS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team brings together expertise, teamwork, and innovation to drive our mission to deliver AML and Know-Your-Client (KYC) solutions for our global clients. Our AML professionals are dedicated to meeting agreed upon standards when conducting thorough KYC reviews when required, including verifying investor identity, and performing sanctions and media screenings using advanced technology.
The team identifies risks and escalates to clients, their Boards of Directors and other key stakeholders. In our fast-paced environment, attention to detail and analytical strength are essential, and every team member is empowered to contribute to process improvements and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do In The Role
Experience & Domain Knowledge
Strong overall experience in financial services, with substantial experience in AML/KYC, Client Due Diligence (CDD) and regulatory compliance.
In-depth understanding of KYC requirements across different client/entity types, including complex legal entity structures and beneficial ownership.
Strong working knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations, including entity classification, tax documentation due diligence, indicia, remediation and reporting requirements.
Experience handling complex or high-risk KYC cases and providing guidance on escalations and exceptions.
Good understanding of regulatory requirements and industry practices relating to AML, KYC and tax transparency.
Leadership & People Management
Prior experience managing a team and leading managers/team leads in an operations or compliance environment.
Strong people-management skills, including performance management, coaching, development and succession planning.
Ability to manage capacity, productivity, quality and delivery against agreed SLAs/KPIs.
Experience driving a strong risk and control culture within the team.
Risk, Controls & Governance
Strong understanding of operational risk and controls within AML/KYC processes.
Experience managing audit, compliance and regulatory-related queries/findings and driving remediation to closure.
Ability to identify process/control gaps, perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Comfortable managing senior-level escalations and making risk-based decisions within established policies and governance.
Stakeholder & Change Management
Strong stakeholder-management skills with experience working across Compliance, Legal, Tax, Operations, Technology and Business teams.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and provide clear updates on risks, issues, metrics and remediation.
Experience leading process improvements, regulatory change or transformation initiatives would be preferred.
Experience working in a global/cross-regional operating model and coordinating with teams across different locations/time zones.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to operate independently and provide subject-matter leadership to the wider team.
Relevant AML/KYC or compliance certifications such as CAMS would be an advantage, though not mandatory.
Relevant FATCA/CRS experience, along with knowledge of OECD and IRS guidance and implementations.
