Job Description:
Main Skills
7+ years of software engineering experience in backend systems and AI/data platform engineering.
Strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, REST API development, API versioning, contracts, and governance.
Hands-on experience with Redis/Valkey, caching frameworks, cache invalidation, TTL strategies, and low-latency data serving.
Strong experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks, CDC, and CDF-based incremental sync pipelines.
Experience building batch and real-time data pipelines with distributed data processing.
Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Delta Change Data Feed (CDF).
Experience with SQL, data modeling, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions with automated testing.
Experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j), and AI-powered serving architectures.
Hands-on experience building AI data infrastructure for RAG pipelines, Agentic AI, feature serving, and enterprise AI platforms.
Experience with DuckDB, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Power BI Semantic Models, or MCP-based AI tooling is a plus.
Strong understanding of SLA/SLO-driven API and data platform engineering.
