Market Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced BDM – Special Polymers to develop and expand our business across the Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities for our specialty polymer portfolio, with a strong focus on technically demanding applications and high-value customers.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new customers, applications and market opportunities for specialty polymers.
Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial market development and technical discussions through qualification, pricing and commercialisation.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with strategic customers and key accounts.
Develop new business opportunities in technically demanding applications, including automotive, industrial, electrical & electronics, healthcare, consumer and other specialty polymer markets.
Monitor market trends, competitive activities, customer requirements and industry developments.
Negotiate commercial conditions and coordinate internally to ensure successful business execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5-10 years' prior industry related business development experience, especially in special materials, long chain PA, automotive etc.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Willing to collaborate effectively across different working styles and business culture (European & Asian)
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
