Role Description The Concept Artist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. The Concept Artist will develop original visual concepts for figurines, showpieces, and wall art, translating creative briefs into compelling 2D designs and character concepts that align with Artarium’s luxury aesthetic. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching and refining concept art, creating storyboards for product lines or campaigns, collaborating closely with designers and the manufacturing team, and preparing artwork for production. The person in this role will also explore new styles and themes, maintain visual consistency across collections, and provide input on how designs can be optimized for materials and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in 2D art and Concept Art for products, environments, and decorative pieces.
Candidates should possess skills in Character Designs and Storyboarding to visualize narratives and product usage scenarios.
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Blender or similar 3D tools to support visualization and prototyping.
Candidates should possess strong drawing fundamentals, including anatomy, composition, color, and lighting.
Candidates should possess the ability to interpret briefs, iterate on feedback, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant experience in product design, game art, animation, or décor-related concept art is beneficial.
A portfolio showcasing concept art, character designs, and 2D artwork is required; formal education in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
