Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the Engineering CoE team, supporting modular/skid projects from the pre-order and conceptual stage through engineering and execution.
The role will focus on concept development, new engineering solutions, estimation, design coordination, site support and engineering audits. The candidate will work closely with engineering, project and execution teams to bridge the gap between pre-order requirements and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop concepts and engineering solutions for modular and skid-based systems.
Support pre-order/proposal and developmental engineering projects.
Develop new ideas and engineering solutions to improve project design, execution and efficiency.
Support material/engineering estimation and feasibility assessment during the pre-order stage.
Coordinate with piping/mechanical/design teams and ensure required engineering work is completed.
Provide design solutions and technical support to project and site teams.
Conduct design reviews, engineering audits, site audits and inspections.
Identify opportunities for engineering automation, software development and process improvement.
Understand engineering tools such as E3D, Plant 3D, SP3D or similar software and guide teams using these tools. Hands-on expertise in a specific software is not mandatory.
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering and execution-related challenges.
Study industry/project developments and identify new engineering approaches, technologies and opportunities.
Support new development initiatives and present innovative engineering solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Mandatory experience in Modular / Skid Plant projects.
Experience across pre-order/proposal, conceptualization, engineering and project execution.
Strong understanding of piping/mechanical engineering and modular system design.
Strong conceptualization and problem-solving ability.
Experience in estimation and feasibility assessment.
Experience providing site/project engineering support.
Ability to coordinate and get engineering work executed through design/engineering teams.
Experience in engineering audits, design reviews or site inspections.
Exposure to engineering software such as E3D, SP3D, Plant 3D, AutoCAD or similar tools.
Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites based on project requirements.
