Product Development Specialist

Role Description The Product Development Specialist role at Amazon Leo is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting the end-to-end product development lifecycle. On a day-to-day basis, this role conducts market and user research, analyzes data and trends, and helps identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing offerings. The specialist collaborates with product managers, R&D teams, designers, and other stakeholders to refine product concepts, document requirements, and support prioritization decisions. Responsibilities include preparing concise reports and presentations, tracking product performance metrics, and assisting with testing, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication in distributed teams, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Research and Development (R&D) skills to identify customer needs and support product innovation.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Product Management capabilities to interpret data, define requirements, and contribute to product roadmaps.
Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings and recommendations.
Relevant experience with product development processes, agile or iterative methodologies, and remote collaboration tools is beneficial.
A background in business, engineering, product management, or a related field, along with experience in technology or e-commerce environments, is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is preferred.
