Executive Vice President of Finance

Role Description The Executive Vice President of Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy for the organization. This role leads the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning, while providing clear guidance to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards, and optimizing financial processes and controls. The Executive Vice President of Finance will collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions, and support strategic initiatives such as investments, cost optimization, and risk management. This position also involves building and mentoring a high-performing finance team, establishing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement across all financial activities.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Finance and Financial Planning to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, assess risk, and support data-driven decision-making.
Extensive experience in senior-level financial leadership roles, preferably in complex or growth-oriented organizations.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, tax considerations, and financial compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams, with strong coaching, delegation, and performance management capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with proven experience supporting organizational growth, cost optimization, and capital allocation decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and proficiency in modern financial and collaboration software.
