To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Engineer - Quality in Pune.
What a typical day looks like:
Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion
Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
Assists with development and implementation of quality audits
Basic Quality and Excel Knowledge, Quality Core Tools and have knowledge on Incoming, In process and Final Quality
Manage part and component qualification through PPAP and FAI across the product lifecycle
Lead supplier qualification, assess risks, define process parameters, and verify supplier capability against engineering requirements.
Support new product launches by ensuring supplier quality compliance.
Follow up with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions on quality issues
Review and improve supplier manufacturing processes, driving value and efficiency.
Promote continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, Poka‑Yoke, MSA, and PFMEA techniques.
Manage and coordinate supplier Material / Non-Material cost recovery for Supplier Quality issues.
Ensure readiness for internal and external audits, assisting in quality audits
Knowledge on ISO/IATF regulations & requirements
Undertake special projects as required and Provide data-driven decision support wherever needed.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of experience
Good written and verbal communication skills.
