About the Role
The Clinic Support Coordinator (CSC) supports clinic operations for the assigned prosthetics and/or orthotics medical practices within BCP Group/Össur Clinics. The Clinic Support Coordinator is responsible for obtaining insurance prior authorizations and providing remote support to Clinics, as needed.
What You’ll Do
Provides administrative support to Clinic offices, as needed. Strives for a paperless work environment and full-utilization of technology‐based processes to drive operational efficiencies.
Submits Prior Authorization packages to insurance Payers, as required. Verifies authorization approvals and relays information on relevant payment and billing/collection policies back to the Clinics.
Performs Detailed Benefits verifications, where indicated, via phone or payer portal. Works closely with Clinic Support Specialists and PCSs to communicate outcome as it relates to final delivery approval and claim reimbursement potential.
Maintains flexibility and adaptability, as work needs will vary by market. May function as support for a remote call center, E-fax management, pre-delivery insurance re-verifications, appointment confirmations, or any other duties as needed and assigned.

Work Environment
This job is Remote. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/pull with hands and arms, bend and squat.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred.
One to two years of experience in the O&P industry utilizing EMR systems.
Prior experience in Commercial, Medicare, & Medicaid Insurances
Working knowledge of Medicare LCD’s and Policy Articles for O&P
Prior experience as a Patient Care Specialist desired but not required.
