BookingBee is an AI call management and AI receptionist platform purpose-built for salons, spas, beauty businesses, and beauty academies. We integrate with leading booking and salon management platforms (Meevo, Phorest, Mindbody, Booker, Square) and serve clients across the US, Canada, and the UK.
The internship
This is a 3-month, on-site internship for someone who wants to build real AI products that impact customers globally, not run errands. You'll ship actual work from day one, learn fast, and work shoulder to shoulder with the team. Perform well and it converts into a full-time offer at BookingBee.
This is a startup. The pace is high, the ownership is real, and we're looking for someone passionate enough to work 6 days a week and genuinely ready to put in the work to build something that reaches customers around the world.
What you'll do
Build and ship features across our AI and product stack, hands-on.
Work with LLMs, APIs, and third-party integrations.
Prototype fast, test, and iterate based on what actually works.
Use AI tools daily to move quicker and punch above your weight.
What we're looking for
Strong fundamentals in programming and data structures.
Hungry to build with AI, and already using AI tools in how you work.
Some hands-on project experience (personal projects, hackathons, GitHub, internships).
Comfort with JavaScript/TypeScript and APIs. Bonus for Node.js/NestJS, Angular, Python, or LLM work.
A fast learner with high ownership, passionate about building things that impact customers globally, and ready to work 6 days a week in a startup environment.
Logistics
Location: Perungudi, Chennai (on-site)
Duration: 3 months, with a full-time offer for top performers
Working hours: Standard India hours, 6 days a week, with flexibility to stretch when needed
Start: Immediate joiners preferred
