This role
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be working with our international payroll team and will be instrumental in shaping the delivery of accurate, timely payroll for our Australian clients while providing excellent client service and ensuring compliance with all local regulations and security standards. Working hours: Full Time position for a full 5-day day shift working arrangement from 6.30am - 3.30pm PH Time (aligned with Australia)
Your key focus areas will be
Deliver accurate, timely payroll processing and reporting for Australian clients with 100% accuracy.
Act as a trusted advisor to build long-term relationships and handle queries, adjustments, and compliance issues.
Ensure strong adherence to Australian payroll regulations, information security guidelines, and partner collaborations.
This will include
Processing and reviewing payroll for Australian businesses with 100% accuracy
Preparing payroll reports and ensuring timely submission
Assisting clients with payroll queries, adjustments, and compliance issues
Working closely with payroll partners and clients to ensure a seamless payroll experience
Building long-term relationships with clients and becoming their trusted payroll advisor
Identifying and reporting any risks, errors, or compliance concerns related to payroll processing
Following information security guidelines to protect sensitive payroll data
Who You Are
To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring
1-4 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or finance with hands-on experience in Australian payroll (must-have)
Familiarity with Fair Work, superannuation, tax, and other Australian payroll regulations
Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and proficiency in Excel for payroll data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first, global environment
Openness to continuous learning and professional development
