Senior Game Developer / Development Lead | Orbital Ignition
Orbital Ignition is an early-stage game studio currently developing Taliara’s Rise, an original mobile game IP.
We’re looking for a Senior Game Developer / Development Lead to join our creative team and help lead the technical development of the game.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone experienced in game development and technical leadership who can:
Lead and guide the development process
Build and maintain core gameplay systems
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
Help structure the technical architecture of the game
Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers
Review code and provide technical direction
Take ownership of technical challenges and solve problems proactively
Help establish efficient development workflows and best practices
Experience with Unity and C# is strongly preferred.
The kind of developer we want
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, proactive, technically strong, and passionate about game development.
You should be comfortable taking ownership, making technical decisions, and working closely with a small creative team to turn ideas into a playable game.
Where we are
Orbital Ignition is currently in the pre-funding / development stage.
This is currently an unpaid opportunity, as the team is working voluntarily while we develop the MVP and prepare the project for funding.
Our goal is to secure funding and transition the team into paid roles as the project progresses.
