Web Development Intern

Company Description
Increase Digital Solution designs and builds websites and digital platforms for a wide range of organisations, including e-commerce brands, education providers, professional services, NGOs, creative professionals, and startups. Clear communication, realistic timelines, and intuitive user experiences guide each project we execute from concept to launch.
Role Description
Build and maintain front-end features for client websites and web platforms, following our brand and UI standards.
Support back-end tasks (forms, data handling, integrations) .
Help test, debug, and fix issues on live and in-progress client projects.
Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to speed up routine coding tasks, while still understanding and reviewing what is shipped.
Participate in code reviews and act on feedback.
Collaborate with the design and business development teams to make sure builds match what was promised to the client.
Qualifications
Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with at least one modern framework (React, Next JS) is a strong plus.
Good understanding of Git/GitHub workflow.
A portfolio, GitHub profile, or personal projects you can show us.
Comfortable saying "I don't know this yet, but I'll find out" . We care more about problem-solving than memorised syntax.
WordPress experience is a plus.
Experience using agentic AI tools for development (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) is a plus. We value developers who can direct AI tools effectively while still understanding, reviewing, and owning the code that ships.
Compensation Structure
This internship does not carry a fixed monthly stipend. However, we offer compensation and incentives.
