About the Role
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you’ll play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials critical to our success. You’ll work hands-on with the latest equipment, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to a culture where safety and innovation are paramount.
What You'll Do
Operate heavy and light mobile equipment, including skid steers, as trained and directed to maintain quarry access points.
Perform pre-operational checks and routine servicing of assigned equipment.
Conduct site clean-up using hand tools and ensure work platforms remain clear and safe.
Safely run and monitor the crushing plant as required.
Assist with plant repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic welding and fitting, as needed.
Handle water hoses and perform cleanup while maintaining awareness of electrical hazards and slippery surfaces.
Report any operational or environmental issues promptly to the foreman.
Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and use all required PPE in compliance with OSHA/MSHA guidelines.
