Research Specialist

What if your insights shaped the success of the next big innovation, marketing campaign, or brand strategy? In this role, you are the voice of the consumer within Royal Swinkels. You help teams across international markets make better decisions based on evidence, not assumptions.
Working across our beer and beyond beer portfolio, you'll take real business questions and work out how best to answer them, personally designing and running the research, uncovering what consumers really think and turning it into clear recommendations. Your insights will cover areas such as brand strategy, innovation, pricing, packaging, advertising, and commercial performance. With access to our own suite of cutting-edge research platforms, AI-enabled tools, and the latest methodologies, you will have both the freedom and responsibility to run research quickly, experiment and elevate consumer understanding across our business. What will you do?
You independently lead consumer and market research projects from understanding the business question and choosing the right approach and methodology, through research design and fieldwork, to analysis, recommendations, and business impact.
You personally design and run research using our own tools, from surveys and concept tests to qualitative research and new AI-enabled approaches.
You turn business questions into actionable consumer insights that help brand, innovation, and commercial teams make smarter decisions.
You monitor brand health and brand performance, translating findings into clear opportunities and recommendations for growth.
You act as the expert on research tools, syndicated data, and market intelligence platforms, helping teams get maximum value from the evidence available to them, while continuously exploring new research methodologies, AI applications, and technologies to strengthen our understanding of consumer behaviour and find better, faster and smarter ways to answer business questions.
This is you
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
You bring approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or a research agency environment and you enjoy actually doing research, not just managing it.
You combine strong research and analytical skills with outstanding presentation and storytelling capabilities, enabling you to influence stakeholders with confidence.
You're curious by nature: comfortable being given a problem, challenging the assumptions behind it and working out the best way to investigate it, and excited by how AI, new technology and emerging research methods are changing what is possible in consumer research.
You thrive in an international environment, are fluent in English, and preferably speak Dutch as well.
