Position Overview:
The Senior Executive Operations – Field Manpower Hiring is responsible for supporting the branch in maintaining adequate outsourced field manpower across fixed-salary and per-piece workforce models.
The role works closely with the Branch Operations Manager, operational supervisors, manpower vendors and relevant support teams to understand manpower requirements, source suitable candidates, coordinate selection and onboarding, and ensure timely deployment of field staff.
The role is primarily field-oriented and requires strong local sourcing capability, vendor coordination, follow-up and execution to ensure adequate manpower availability for regular operations, replacements and peak business requirements.
Job Purpose:
To ensure timely availability of outsourced operational manpower under fixed-salary and per-piece models by driving local sourcing, candidate screening, vendor coordination, onboarding and deployment in line with approved manpower requirements.
The role will support continuity of branch operations by maintaining an adequate manpower pipeline, reducing vacancy gaps and ensuring that selected candidates are field-ready within the required timelines.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Manpower Requirement & Field Sourcing
Understand approved outsourced manpower requirements from the Branch Operations Manager.
Source candidates for field operational roles through local networks, referrals, manpower vendors, field sourcing and other approved channels.
Support hiring requirements across fixed-salary and per-piece workforce models.
Conduct initial candidate screening against basic eligibility, location, shift and job requirements.
Maintain an active candidate pipeline to support regular vacancies, attrition, replacements and peak manpower requirements.
Selection, Onboarding & Deployment
Coordinate candidate interviews / selection with the concerned Operations Manager or supervisor.
Support selected candidates in completing required documentation and onboarding formalities.
Coordinate with manpower vendors and relevant teams for KYC, background verification and other required onboarding processes.
Ensure candidates are correctly mapped to the appropriate vendor, branch / location and workforce model – fixed salary or per-piece, as applicable.
Follow up until completion of onboarding and successful deployment at the assigned location.
Vendor & Field Coordination
Work closely with empanelled manpower vendors to ensure timely fulfilment of approved requirements.
Regularly engage with local sourcing markets and potential candidate pools.
Track vendor-wise candidate mobilisation, selection, joining and deployment.
Support urgent manpower mobilisation during peak periods, volume increases or unexpected manpower shortages.
Escalate persistent manpower gaps or sourcing challenges to the Branch Operations Manager.
Tracking, Process & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of manpower requirements, candidates sourced, selected, joined, deployed and dropped.
Track open vacancies and provide regular hiring status updates to the Branch Operations Manager.
Ensure completion of required KYC, BGV, documentation and onboarding processes before deployment, as applicable.
Ensure hiring and onboarding are undertaken only through approved organisational processes and authorised vendors.
Ensure no unauthorised fees or payments are collected from candidates.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of candidate and workforce information.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
Graduate from a recognised university preferred.
Candidates with relevant experience in field hiring, manpower sourcing, staffing or logistics operations may also be considered based on business requirements.
Experience
Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in field hiring, manpower sourcing, staffing or logistics operations.
Experience independently handling outsourced manpower requirements for a branch / location will be preferred.
Prior exposure to vendor-managed manpower or high-volume frontline hiring will be an advantage.
