Benefits Partner – Americas
Location: US Remote
Payrate: $50-$60/hr
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Full-time
Position Summary
We are seeking a Benefits Partner to support the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of employee benefits programs across the Americas. This role will help ensure regional compliance, competitive benefits offerings, and alignment with global Total Rewards strategies.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, regional benefits expertise, and experience managing benefits vendors and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits & Leave Administration
Manage the day-to-day administration of health, welfare, retirement, leave/time off, and wellness programs across Brazil, Canada, and the United States.
Ensure accurate benefits enrollment, eligibility, and life event processing.
Partner with benefits vendors and brokers to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
Support annual open enrollment planning, execution, and employee communications.
Maintain accurate documentation of benefits processes, controls, and plan details.
Utilize AI and other tools to identify opportunities and build efficiencies into benefits administration.
HCM Systems & Data Management
Serve as the functional benefits subject matter expert within the HCM system, with Workday strongly preferred.
Maintain benefits system configuration, including plan setup, eligibility rules, and rates.
Audit and validate benefits data to ensure accuracy across internal systems and external vendors.
Lead or support benefits-related system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
Build and maintain benefits dashboards and reports for HR leadership and Finance in partnership with the HCM team.
Employee Support & Communication
Serve as a subject matter expert for employee benefits inquiries.
Develop clear employee communications and educational materials related to benefits and leave programs.
Partner with People & Culture and other cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience.
Support employees with leave and time off requests across the Americas.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience administering benefits programs and leaves of absence within a multinational organization.
Experience working with HRIS and leave management systems; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of statutory and supplementary benefits.
Experience with benefits programs in Brazil and Canada is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of statutory and/or U.S. state leave regulations.
Willingness to provide benefits support globally, as needed.
