Service Manager

**About TAARK**
TAARK designs and manufactures electric vehicles for industrial and commercial use: electric load carriers, brick-transport EVs, electric tippers, forklifts, custom application vehicles and L5 commercial EVs (TAARK GLADIA). Our customers are brick kilns, textile mills, cement, agro and poultry units, hospitals and campuses across India. We are an engineering-first company, and after-sales service is how we earn repeat business.
**Role purpose**
Own TAARK's after-sales service end to end, so every customer vehicle stays running, every complaint is closed fast and does not come back, and service grows into a profitable business line.
**Key responsibilities**
- Lead the service team and dealer service network across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states.
- Run the periodic general-service programme for the full product range: schedules, checklists and on-time completion.
- Own customer complaints: quick response, root cause, permanent fix, and feedback to R&D and Quality.
- Plan spare parts: stock at plant and dealers, consumption-based planning, pricing and genuine-spares sales.
- Build and sell AMC (annual maintenance contracts) with a clear value pitch to customers.
- Handle warranty: claim approval, cost control and supplier recovery.
- Train service engineers, dealer technicians and customer operators on batteries (lead-acid and lithium), motors, controllers and chargers.
- Maintain service manuals, troubleshooting guides and service records for every vehicle.
- Deliver the yearly service revenue target and report service MIS to the MD every week.

**What you bring (must have)**
- 8–12 years in after-sales service of vehicles or industrial equipment, with at least 5 years leading a service team.
- Hands-on diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems: battery, motor, controller, charger, drivetrain and brakes.
- Experience managing field service and dealer or channel service.
- Spare parts planning and warranty management.
- Fluent Tamil, English & working Hindi, Kanada, Telugu; willing to travel to customer sites.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Pollachi / Kinathukadavu / Coimbatore.
**Good to have**
- EV, electric three-wheeler, forklift, tractor or construction-equipment service background.
- AMC or service-revenue ownership.
- Experience building a service process from scratch.
**Education:** Diploma or BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
