About the Company
Our client is an innovative manufacturing organization that designs and produces lightweight, highly efficient electric motor and fan systems used in a variety of advanced industrial applications. As the company prepares for year-end reporting, audit activities, and tax-related initiatives, they are seeking an experienced accounting consultant to provide critical support to their finance team.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Senior General Accounting Consultant (English/Spanish) to support year-end close activities, audit preparation, tax support, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, exceptional Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
NetSuite ERP experience is required. Candidates must also be fluent in both English and Spanish, as communication with Spanish-speaking stakeholders will be a regular part of the role.
To ensure proficiency, candidates will complete NetSuite and bilingual communication assessments as part of the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities.
Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for external audits.
Coordinate audit requests and assist in audit readiness initiatives.
Support tax preparation efforts and provide required financial documentation.
Prepare, analyze, and review monthly and year-end financial statements.
Maintain general ledger integrity through account reconciliations and financial analysis.
Develop, maintain, and analyze complex Excel workbooks, reports, and financial models.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting projects as needed.
Identify process improvements and help strengthen accounting controls and procedures.
Partner with finance leadership to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Support special projects related to year-end readiness, compliance, and operational accounting.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Advanced knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.
Experience supporting external audits and tax preparation activities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUPs, formulas, reporting, and workbook management.
NetSuite ERP experience required.
Fluent English and Spanish language skills required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing or industrial industry experience.
Cost accounting experience, including inventory, standard costing, product costing, or variance analysis.
Experience working in multi-entity environments.
Hands-on involvement with year-end close and financial statement audits.
Tax compliance or tax provision support experience.
CPA or CPA-track status preferred.
Compensation
$55.00-$62.50/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Candidates with significant cost accounting expertise and manufacturing industry experience may be considered for higher compensation.
