Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities. This full-time, on-site role in Faridabad involves preparing financial statements, monitoring project-related costs, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. The Senior Accountant will review and validate financial data, coordinate with project and procurement teams on billing and payments, and support internal and external audits. The role also includes implementing process improvements, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing financial insights to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong financial accounting and reporting: general ledger, month-end close, and preparing financial statements
Solid working knowledge of GST, TDS, Indian Accounting Standards and regulatory compliance
Experience in cost and project accounting: tracking project expenses and budgets, and variance analysis
Experience handling international payments: foreign remittances, forex transactions, SWIFT transfers, Form 15CA/15CB, and FEMA/RBI compliance
Comfortable with ERP systems, advanced MS Excel and other financial tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with close attention to detail
Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (CA, CPA or equivalent is a plus)
Experience in construction or infrastructure, with knowledge of contract billing and vendor management, preferred
