About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and Lead Retail Merchandise Specialist (Allocation &
Distribution) to join our EBO (Exclusive Brand Outlet) Division Ahmedabad . The ideal
candidate will be responsible for managing product life-cycle, ensuring optimal stock levels,
and enhancing store performance through data-driven product strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
o Monitor stock levels to ensure availability and optimal turnover.
o Avoid stock-outs/overstocking through effective safety stock and buffer planning.
o Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and restocking.
2. Stock Replenishment
o Implement and manage replenishment processes.
o Ensure fast-moving and best-selling items are restocked in a timely manner.
3. Sales Analysis & Forecasting
o Analyze sales trends to identify strong/weak performing SKUs.
o Forecast future sales based on data insights.
o Adjust stock plans based on real-time demand.
4. Product Allocation & Distribution
o Distribute products based on store demographics and sales performance.
o Optimize product availability while minimizing excess stock.
5. Seasonal & Trend Analysis
o Incorporate fashion trends and seasonal inputs into planning.
o Maintain alignment with the brand identity.
6. Stock Rotation & Lifecycle Management
o Ensure effective product rotation and clearance of ageing stock.
o Strategically highlight new arrivals.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work with store teams and supply chain for seamless product flow.
o Partner with visual merchandising for strategic product display.
8. Market & Competitor Analysis
o Study market and competitors to inform assortment and pricing decisions.
9. Trend Forecasting & Innovation
o Stay ahead of fashion trends and suggest innovative product ideas.
10. Training & Development
o Share product knowledge and sales insights with store staff to boost conversions.
