Role Description The Dean of Student Affairs is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Unnao, responsible for overseeing the overall student experience and welfare across the university. This position manages student affairs operations, including co-curricular programs, student engagement initiatives, counseling and support services, and student conduct processes. The role involves collaborating with academic and administrative units to align student services with institutional goals, supporting enrollment and retention strategies, and ensuring compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements. The Dean will develop and implement strategic plans for student development, lead staff within the student affairs division, monitor campus climate, and promote an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment for all learners.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs, with experience leading student-focused departments or initiatives.
Strong background in Enrollment Management, including strategies to support recruitment, retention, and student success.
Proficiency in Student Conduct processes, policy implementation, and maintaining fair, transparent disciplinary procedures.
Proven ability in Strategic Planning, including designing and executing long-term initiatives to enhance the student experience.
Advanced degree (preferably a master’s or doctorate) in Education, Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, or a related field.
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across academic and administrative units.
Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and learner-centered practices.
Experience working within technologically advanced or AI-augmented academic environments is an advantage.
