Role Description The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support Fude Developments’ AI-powered applications, learning platforms, and management systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and managing network devices, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity and security issues, and ensuring high availability for remote and cloud-based environments. The role involves collaborating with software and DevOps teams to support deployments, optimize network architectures, and enforce security best practices. This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable communication, documentation of network changes, and proactive improvement of network reliability and scalability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Network Engineering and Network Design for planning, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable network architectures.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and related network services.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network performance, connectivity, and configuration issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to implement security policies, protect data in transit, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) are beneficial.
Professional experience in network engineering or administration, and industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+, or equivalent) are preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and experience documenting network configurations and procedures are important.
