About the Internship
We are looking for motivated candidates for the WordPress Developer Intern position. This 4-month internship is intended for candidates who want to build practical skills through real-world work, guided learning, feedback, and consistent contribution. Assist in building, customizing, optimizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting WordPress websites for company and client projects.
Role Description
As a WordPress Developer Intern, you will work with the relevant team to support assigned projects and operational activities. You will be expected to learn quickly, follow professional processes, complete assigned responsibilities, and progressively take greater ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain WordPress websites and landing pages.
Customize themes, templates, layouts, plugins, and page-builder components.
Work with Elementor or similar builders where required.
Use HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/PHP for practical customizations.
Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot WordPress plugins.
Ensure responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Improve website speed, usability, SEO readiness, and basic accessibility.
Assist with website content, images, forms, menus, and digital assets.
Perform browser/device testing and resolve functional issues.
Assist with backups, routine maintenance, security hygiene, and updates.
Coordinate with designers, content writers, SEO, and project teams.
Maintain basic website documentation and communicate deployment/maintenance updates.
Skills & Requirements
Basic WordPress knowledge.
Familiarity with themes, plugins, menus, widgets, and page builders.
Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
Basic JavaScript knowledge is an advantage; PHP knowledge is a strong advantage.
Basic understanding of responsive design and website performance.
Basic SEO knowledge is an advantage.
Familiarity with domains, hosting, cPanel/VPS, or website deployment is an advantage.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Students and freshers with WordPress projects are welcome.

Important Internship Terms
The first four months are strictly unpaid; no stipend is payable during Months 1–4.
The internship does not guarantee a job, paid employment, stipend, or continuation after four months.
Continuation from Month 5 is selective and depends on performance, business requirements, availability, and management approval.
A stipend, if offered from Month 5, will be decided individually within the ₹1,000–₹15,000/month range.
Interns must maintain confidentiality and must not share company/client information, source code, credentials, documents, or internal data without authorization.
Interns are expected to follow company policies, assigned working schedules, deadlines, meeting requirements, and reasonable instructions from managers/mentors.
