AWS infrastructure Administrator

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Infrastructure Administrator with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure management, networking, database administration, and cloud migration. The candidate will be responsible for migrating and replicating existing infrastructure from Amazon EKS to EC2-based deployments, configuring associated RDS database instances, and ensuring infrastructure readiness, connectivity, security, and smooth integration with DPS.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and related cloud services.
Clone and migrate existing application infrastructure from Amazon EKS to Amazon EC2, as DPS is not currently ready to support EKS deployments.
Provision, configure, and validate EC2 instances to support application deployment requirements.
Clone and configure associated Amazon RDS database instances, including connectivity, security, and access configurations.
Configure and troubleshoot AWS networking components, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NAT gateways, and internet gateways.
Manage DNS records, domain configurations, and traffic routing using Amazon Route 53 and Cloudflare.
Support infrastructure connectivity, deployment readiness, and migration activities into the DPS environment.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, access, and database connectivity issues.
Implement security best practices, access controls, monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Validate application accessibility, database connectivity, and infrastructure functionality after migration.
Document infrastructure configurations, migration procedures, dependencies, and operational processes.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, database, and client teams to ensure successful migration and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6–8 years of hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure administration and cloud operations.
Strong experience with Amazon EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, and AWS networking.
Practical experience migrating containerized or Kubernetes-based workloads to EC2-based environments.
Experience cloning, restoring, configuring, and validating RDS database instances.
Strong knowledge of VPC networking, subnets, routing, security groups, gateways, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Route 53, DNS records, domain management, and Cloudflare configuration.
Understanding of Linux server administration, application hosting, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Experience with AWS monitoring, logging, backup, security, and access management.
Ability to analyze existing infrastructure and plan migration with minimal downtime.
Good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
