# AI Engineer (Agents)
## About the Role
BairesDev is seeking an AI Engineer specialized in Agents to design and build autonomous, multi-step AI systems capable of reasoning and executing complex tasks. You will architect agentic workflows that enable AI models to effectively use tools, collaborate across agents, and accomplish high-level business objectives with minimal intervention.
You will work across agent orchestration, tool calling, reasoning, planning, observability, evaluation, and safety. The role also involves collaborating with product teams to translate business goals into executable agent personas and task structures.
## Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement multi-agent coordination frameworks for complex, long-running workflows.
* Develop robust tool-calling mechanisms and API integrations that extend autonomous agent capabilities.
* Orchestrate agentic reasoning and planning logic using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
* Optimize agent performance through structured observability and monitoring.
* Identify and manage issues such as agent loops and context rot.
* Implement evaluation processes and moderation guardrails to improve the reliability and safety of agentic systems.
* Collaborate with product teams to translate high-level business objectives into executable agent personas and task structures.
* Design agentic workflows that support autonomous execution of complex tasks.
## Required Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on AI systems or agentic workflows.
* Proven experience building multi-step agentic systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
* Deep understanding of transformer architectures and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities, including tool calling and reasoning.
* Hands-on experience with agent orchestration, multi-agent coordination, and state management.
* Proficiency in Python.
* Experience implementing observability for long-running agentic workflows.
* Advanced proficiency in English.
