The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Asset Specialist to support digital-asset strategy, product development, market operations, asset management, blockchain ecosystems, transaction processing, risk controls, and operational activities.
The ideal candidate will combine strong knowledge of digital assets and blockchain technology with financial-market awareness, operational discipline, analytical capability, and a strong understanding of risk and regulatory requirements. The role will work across product, technology, investment, operations, compliance, and external partners to support secure and efficient digital-asset activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and support digital-asset strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market opportunities.
Monitor developments across cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, tokenized assets, blockchain networks, and digital-asset infrastructure.
Conduct market research and analysis covering digital-asset markets, protocols, products, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
Evaluate digital assets based on market characteristics, liquidity, technology, use cases, risk, regulatory considerations, and commercial potential.
Support the development and management of digital-asset products and services.
Define product requirements, operating models, workflows, controls, and service standards for digital-asset offerings.
Coordinate digital-asset initiatives across Product, Technology, Operations, Investment, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Legal teams.
Monitor digital-asset market conditions, pricing, liquidity, trading activity, volatility, and market trends.
Analyze digital-asset performance using market, blockchain, transaction, and portfolio data.
Support digital-asset portfolio monitoring and performance analysis.
Monitor asset allocation, exposure, concentration, liquidity, and portfolio-level risk.
Prepare digital-asset market reports, investment analysis, and management information.
Support digital-asset valuation, pricing, and reconciliation processes.
Monitor pricing sources, market data providers, exchange data, and reference rates.
Investigate pricing discrepancies and unusual market movements.
Monitor digital-asset liquidity across approved exchanges, counterparties, custodians, and trading venues.
Assess liquidity risks and identify potential constraints affecting transactions or portfolio management.
Support digital-asset trading and transaction operations where applicable.
Coordinate transaction execution, settlement, transfers, and post-trade activities.
Monitor blockchain transactions from initiation through confirmation and final settlement.
Investigate failed, delayed, rejected, or incorrectly processed digital-asset transactions.
Monitor blockchain network conditions, transaction fees, congestion, confirmation times, and operational risks.
Coordinate digital-asset transfers between wallets, custodians, exchanges, and approved counterparties.
Maintain accurate records of wallet addresses, transaction references, asset balances, and transfer activity.
Support wallet management and digital-asset custody operations in accordance with approved security controls.
Coordinate with custodians and wallet providers on account setup, transaction processing, security controls, and operational support.
Support institutional custody arrangements, cold-storage processes, hot-wallet operations, and controlled asset movements where applicable.
Ensure appropriate segregation of duties and authorization controls for digital-asset transactions.
Support multi-signature, approval, transaction-limit, and access-control processes.
Work with Security teams to protect private keys, credentials, wallet infrastructure, and sensitive digital-asset information.
Monitor digital-asset operational risks, including key-management, wallet, custody, blockchain, counterparty, and technology risks.
Support risk assessments for digital assets, protocols, exchanges, custodians, and service providers.
Monitor exposure to approved digital assets, counterparties, exchanges, networks, and technology providers.
Identify unusual activity, operational exceptions, market anomalies, and potential risk events.
Coordinate with Compliance and Financial Crime teams on KYC, AML, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and digital-asset compliance requirements.
Support transaction-screening and blockchain-monitoring processes where applicable.
Assist with due diligence on digital-asset counterparties, exchanges, custodians, issuers, and technology providers.
Monitor regulatory developments affecting cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, tokenization, custody, trading, payments, and digital-asset services.
Translate regulatory developments into operational requirements and recommendations.
Maintain appropriate documentation for digital-asset activities, transactions, controls, approvals, and compliance reviews.
Support audits, regulatory reviews, risk assessments, and internal control testing.
Coordinate with Finance on digital-asset accounting, valuation, reconciliation, reporting, and financial-control requirements.
Reconcile digital-asset balances across internal records, blockchain data, exchanges, custodians, and accounting systems.
Investigate balance discrepancies, missing transactions, unexplained movements, and reconciliation breaks.
Support digital-asset reporting for management, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
Develop dashboards covering asset balances, market values, exposure, liquidity, transaction activity, risk indicators, and operational performance.
Analyze blockchain and transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and operational insights.
Work with Data and Technology teams to improve digital-asset data quality, reporting, monitoring, and automation.
Support integration with blockchain analytics, custody, market-data, exchange, and transaction-monitoring platforms.
Evaluate digital-asset technology providers and external service partners.
Monitor vendor performance, service levels, security requirements, operational reliability, and contractual obligations.

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should have strong experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain, digital-asset operations, digital-asset investment, custody, trading, fintech, financial markets, or related financial technology environments, preferably within a bank, fintech, asset manager, exchange, custodian, payment provider, investment firm, or regulated financial institution.
