Junior Software Engineer

The Role
• Design and develop microservices for a mission-critical automation platform supporting air traffic management.
• Implement AI-first engineering practices and modern development methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, product delivery, and DevSecOps.
• Build and modernize real-time, safety-critical systems using AI-augmented software development.
• Work within a SAFe/Agile framework to deliver iterative value.
• Develop solutions for a hybrid cloud data mesh architecture.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java or C++ with experience building production software.
• Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git workflows.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation.
