Role Description The Accountant role at Sathvar is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.
a. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing and reviewing ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
b. Responsibilities include supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing financial statements and management reports, and assisting with audits and compliance requirements.
c. The role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate tax and regulatory filings, timely reporting, and adherence to accounting standards.
d. The Accountant is expected to maintain strong documentation, contribute to process improvements, and support cross-border and international business engagements as required.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting and finance, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
Knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance, with the ability to support statutory filings, audits, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, and comfort working with data, reports, and financial analysis tools.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in public accounting, professional services, or corporate finance, especially with SMEs or international businesses, is preferred.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discipline, with a commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and outcome-focused work.
