Role Description As the Owner at techcarrot, this full-time, on-site role based in Chennai is responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving business growth, and ensuring alignment with the company’s digital transformation vision. The Owner will oversee operations, financial performance, and delivery quality across practice areas, working closely with leadership teams in Dubai and other global centers. Day-to-day activities include defining business goals, reviewing key performance metrics, guiding major client engagements, and making investment and resource allocation decisions. The role involves building and nurturing executive-level client relationships, promoting a people-first culture, and ensuring strong governance, risk management, and compliance. The Owner will also champion innovation, explore new market opportunities, and foster cross-functional collaboration to maintain techcarrot’s competitive edge.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in IT services, consulting, or digital transformation, with responsibility for strategy, P&L, and multi-site operations.
Strong background in one or more domains such as Digital Solutions, Enterprise Applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft, Odoo), Data Analytics & AI, Cyber Security & GRC, Infrastructure & Cloud, or Quality Engineering.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships at executive level, including business development, account growth, and long-term partnership management.
Experience working in or with global teams, including nearshore/offshore delivery centers, and familiarity with regional markets such as the Middle East, India, and other international geographies.
Sound understanding of governance, risk, compliance, and information security standards; ISO/IEC 27001 exposure is an advantage.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on measurable outcomes and operational efficiency.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross
