Role Description We have an old website with a WordPress theme that is unable to be updated. I need either the content changed over to a current updateable theme or a rebuild the website using the information from the current site. Making the site simple and easy to use for the clients.
I have control of the domain name and hosting info, so ready to get going on the changes. There are a couple of broken links - an RSS feed that needs removing, a blog page that isn't working well on the mobile site etc.
We are a small tourism business that has seen better times prior to Kauri dieback, covid and the cyclone. So, looking for affordable help with these changes.
I am able to make daily changes to the site but not qualified to do the tech side of the website, so it would be good to have an ongoing IT help as needed.
Qualifications
If you can do the above changes and can bring not just the technical side but also make the site look great that would be ideal.
We want a simple clear site that highlights an amazing day in NZ wilderness.
Experience in travel, tourism, or e-commerce environments and knowledge of usability and accessibility standards are advantageous.
