Infrastructure & DevOps Administrator – Proxmox, Kubernetes & CI/CD (Experience: 3–5 Years)

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure & DevOps Administrator to manage our Proxmox, Kubernetes, Linux, databases, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backup, and automation environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience managing production infrastructure from virtualization to application deployment.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Proxmox
Manage Proxmox VE clusters, VMs, LXC containers, HA, migrations, and resource allocation.
Manage storage including Ceph, ZFS, NFS, and NAS.
Configure and troubleshoot Linux servers, networking, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
Manage infrastructure patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
Kubernetes & Containers
Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker/containerd environments.
Manage pods, deployments, namespaces, RBAC, Helm, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, and persistent storage.
Troubleshoot Kubernetes cluster, networking, storage, and application issues.
Perform Kubernetes upgrades and security hardening.
Databases
Administer databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, or Oracle.
Manage database backup, restore, users, permissions, monitoring, and performance.
Troubleshoot database connectivity and performance issues.
DevOps & CI/CD
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Automate application build, testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes and container environments.
Manage Git repositories, container images, secrets, and deployment configurations.
Automation & Monitoring
Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and/or Python.
Monitor infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar tools.
Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in Systems Administration / Infrastructure / DevOps.
Strong Linux administration — Ubuntu/Debian/RHEL/CentOS.
Hands-on experience with Proxmox VE and Kubernetes.
Experience with Docker/containerd and CI/CD pipelines.
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB/Oracle.
Good understanding of networking, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and load balancing.
Experience with Ceph/ZFS/NFS and backup solutions.
Scripting/automation knowledge using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
Preferred
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
Experience with Helm, ArgoCD/GitOps.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Zabbix.
CKA/CKAD, RHCSA/RHCE, or equivalent certification.
Experience with Veeam or Proxmox Backup Server.
