WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Underwrite new business, renewals and endorsements across Personal Lines products.
Assess and manage underwriting risks, pricing, coverage, policy terms, and insurer appetite to ensure sustainable and profitable products.
Work closely with insurers, reinsurers, and partners on underwriting arrangements, negotiations, product development, and improvements.
Monitor portfolio performance, loss ratios, and underwriting profitability, identifying opportunities to improve performance.
Collaborate with Partnership Managers and internal stakeholders to develop and enhance insurance propositions that meet market and partner needs.
Support underwriting initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and market competitiveness.
Requirements
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly Personal Lines.
Experience in insurance underwriting, product management, broking, or a related insurance function.
Exposure to Travel Insurance, Extended Warranty, Mobile Insurance, and/or Personal Accident (PA) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make sound decisions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
