Required Skills
10–15+ years of experience in Oracle database development and architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL.
Excellent knowledge of:
Stored Procedures
Functions
Packages
Triggers
Cursors
Collections
Dynamic SQL
Bulk processing
Exception handling
Strong expertise in SQL performance tuning and optimization.
Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and internals.
Experience with execution plans, indexing, partitioning, materialized views, and query optimization.
Strong database design and data modeling skills.
Experience with large-volume transactional databases.
Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, or similar technologies is desirable.
Knowledge of database security, access control, encryption, and auditing.
Experience working with REST APIs, Java/.NET applications, middleware, or enterprise integration platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
Performance & Optimization Expertise
The candidate should be capable of independently handling:
Complex SQL optimization
PL/SQL performance tuning
Explain Plan / execution-plan analysis
AWR and ASH analysis
Index strategy
Table and index partitioning
Bulk collect / FORALL optimization
High-volume data processing
Deadlock and locking issues
Memory and resource optimization
Database concurrency and transaction management
