Junior Python Developer

About the role
We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer with foundational Python knowledge and enthusiasm for building reliable backend services, APIs, and integrations.
Responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of backend applications using Python.
Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external services.
Work with databases to store, retrieve, and process application data.
Participate in code reviews, testing, bug fixing, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and Engineering teams.
Continuously learn and adopt new tools, practices, and technologies.
Requirements
Must Have
2 years of hands-on knowledge of Python.
Understanding of REST APIs and backend development fundamentals.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Basic experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Willingness to learn and work with Carbone.
Nice to have
Exposure to FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Knowledge of unit testing and API testing.
Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
Basic understanding of cloud services and CI/CD practices.
Experience through academic, personal, internship, or open-source projects.
