Software Engineering Manager

What You’ll Do
Design and execute a recruiting strategy to build up a new diverse and inclusive engineering team
Lead architectural decisions and roadmap delivery for web & lead API acquisition efforts
Work with the leadership team to produce and deliver the engineering roadmap
Mentor engineers and sponsor them for the right projects to deliver the best product while growing their skillset
Identify and promote engineering best practices
Advise leadership team on technical feasibility and implications of product decisions
What We Look For
Experience managing engineering teams
5+ years of experience building and deploying scalable applications in the cloud
Experience with Ruby on Rails.
Expertise in scoping large projects and initiatives into small iterations for release
Clear and efficient communication skills
Mentorship skills and the ability to give well-crafted constructive feedback
Experience in a startup environment is not required but preferred

The base annual salary range is listed below. This role is eligible for additional incentives, including an annual bonus.
Base Salary Range
$170,000—$210,000 USD
