As a Senior Manager - Category Management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and developing strategies for the effective management of product categories within the organization.
With 4.0-8.0 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for driving growth, optimizing product assortment, and enhancing the overall performance of assigned categories.
Roles And Responsibilities
Develop and execute category management strategy, build plans to meet business objectives and financial targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, bizfin, storefront and product development, to align category strategies with overall business goals.
Manage & Lead vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee product assortment decisions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track category performance and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
Mentor a team of category management professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and best practices in category management to drive continuous improvement.
Your role will involve strategic planning, data analysis, team leadership, and collaborative decision-making to drive the success of the category management function.
By leveraging your experience and expertise, you will contribute to the organization's competitive edge and sustained growth in the marketplace.
