Overall Requirements:
Our Operations Department is looking for an experienced, high-energy, out-of-the-box thinker, with a strong understanding of electronics with a hands-on approach to test and to qualify a wide variety of Optical, Electrical and Wireless (CDMA) Telecom Cards in an active Lab Environment. This role requires strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and identify units for physical damage prior to testing
Correctly identify which test platforms are used to test each unit
Follow written and verbal instruction to complete testing across multiple platforms
Perform bench testing with the use of additional test equipment
Recording findings of test failures in the database with clear description(s) of the failure(s)
Communicate test results both verbally and written with peers and supervisors
Perform other job-related duties, as required
Education & Experience:
Studying Electronic Troubleshooting or Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to document clearly & concisely will be essential
Ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely fashion
Ability to listen and communicate with peers at all levels within the organization.
Health and Safety conscious.
Autonomous self-starter: can anticipate what needs to be done before being asked.
