Position Summary
The Assembler, Custom / Cabinet Builder is responsible for constructing, assembling, and preparing high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires strong woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build custom products that meet customers and project requirements. The Custom Cabinet Builder plays a critical role in delivering the craftsmanship and quality that define Bell Cabinetry & Design Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build and assemble custom cabinetry, casework, panels, drawers, doors, and specialty millwork components.
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, cut lists, and production specifications.
Verify dimensions, materials, and component accuracy before and during construction.
Utilize woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
Perform fitting, trimming, drilling, sanding, and assembly operations to complete custom products.
Install hardware, drawer slides, hinges, and specialty accessories as required.
Ensure finished products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve construction or fit issues during the build process.
Collaborate with Engineering, Finishing, and Production teams to ensure project success.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company safety procedures and manufacture best practices.
Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
